not sure yet, I want to do rose petal toss but not sure if my church allows it. If not than either traditional wedding rice (the hearts) or bubbles.

A lot of churches don't allow rice - because it's harmful to birds and people can slip on it and sue the church - be sure to check with your church before you purchase the special rice.

my church does not allow roes petals (something about them staining the sidewalks) and I can throw rice but a very small handful and birdseed is good.

So to make it much easier on me its bubbles.

what about the silk rose petals instead of real ones?? and maybe just a few people toss those (like family) and have friends and everyone who comes to church do the bubbles...

we were going to do petals, but we are skipping the receiveing line, so we're bagging the idea....unless someone can make a suggestion when we could do it later....

Rose Petals! I love the way the pictures come out on the steps of the church! We're not doing a receiving line either. We're going to have our photographer announce that and then usher everyone outside quickly, then we'll exit and everyone will throw the petals.
