sticking paper to card
am I being a pain today? I want to get the table cards done this weekend.
I want to use 8*10 navy cardstock, with 7*9 white paper stuck to it, to make a kind of a border.
Whats the best way to stick these together so they won't - peel - seperate - look like crap?
Do you think it would look tacky? crappy?

You can use glue dots.

Re: sticking paper to card
I suggest a glue stick, like we used in pre school!
I did my portfolio with one and it came out great! And it's not messy!

Re: sticking paper to card
I have two ideas..... you can either punch holes in the top of both and thread a ribbon or some pther type of fiber through it to hold them together.
Or use a glue stick to glue them together.
hth!

Yes and they are actually better than a glue stick.

Re: sticking paper to card
CAUTION: IMO Spray mount is way too sticky & messy! I use it at work. It's good if you want to get high while you are mounting! Ha Ha Ha!

Re: sticking paper to card
Be careful of glue sticks, they might show up bumpy.
My favorite is double sided tape. I just helped my brother with his invites. We had a piece of cardstock folded in threes. We then taped (the double sided comes in small pieces) in all four corners the actual invite.
They came out fantastic and they didn't budge!!
