I thought this was a cute idea

I read this in a wedding magazine.

To get the guests to feel involved, give people who are sitting at the end of the pews (on both sides) rose petals and have them toss rose petals as the bride is walking down the aisle. Not to toss them at the bride but in her path to the alter.

I thought that was so cute.

so cute...actually...a friend of mine just went to a wedding where this was done last night...she said it was really nice.

It's a nice idea but you have to ask your church if you can do this. The church that we got married, they wouldn't let you throw anything inside or outside the church. The church had a floor that can be slippery and angles down towards the altar (church used to be a movie theater) as for throwing anything outside, it (whatever is being thrown) eventually at times gets inside i.e confetti. My advice is asked what their policy is.

outside i know we cant throw rose petals. I just looked at the rule book the church gave us and its not allowed.

We dont have a flower girl, I am glad. I would be so upset if my little flower girl couldnt toss petals.
