this BM dress color combo...what color shoe?

The top would be black, the bottom ice blue (lighter blue than the pic)...i've heard opinions on both sides. Either a strappy ice blue to match the skirt, or a black strappy sandal. My BM's and I talked about strappy sandal b/c wedding is July 4th (2004). Hmmm, I'm torn. What do you girls think? Or any pics of ice blue/light blue stappy sandals? Thanks!

I like the black strappy sandal because they can possibly wear those shoes again for other affairs. With a blue sandal I dont know if they would have other outfits to wear the shoes with

I KNOW! Shoe AND flower picture queen! I think every pic of flowers I have saved I got from Shamma's posts!!!
Actually, the girls said they WOULD wear blue sandals again! But only if they were strappy and cool...ugh! But would black look funny with an ice blue bottom???

I'd say a blue to match the bottom. Dyeables of course. A nice strappy shoe. They can be dyed black again for future use.

Thanks girls...yeah, I'm thinking dyed to match (ice blue). But that's if I decide this combo; I am also leaning towards claret red...but lots of time to decide. I just love looking!

I am a big dofus olgaki, i cant wear flats. I trip. I am serious, the bigger and chunkier the heal the better, flats I fall flat on my face and feel so weird

lol see i'm really tall and love heels for everyday - like work and so forth. But when I get dressed up I feel like I'm going to fall - stelletos(sp?) are my downfall! no pun intended

Cyn I'm with Jenn! Blue would look better. Ice blue is such a light blue, I think black would be to harsh! I know most of your bridal party would definately wear them again. ( How many shoes do you all have?)

I think you should definitely match the blue. The black would stand out too much. If the bottom of the dress was black, then I would say black shoes.

Cynthia, my girls wore a blue dress like that called Mediterranean and I let them wear whatever color shoe/sandal that they wanted. The dress is altered in such a way that the shoe does not show. A nice strappy black sandal would be nice. Most of them probably have this already. It would be no additional cost for them
