someone PLEASE tell me im not the only 08 bride who
has not picked the pics for her album yet!!! with so many pics and so many that I love I am finding the task daunting and overwhelming-- any tips???

We started it list but we lost it.

i've picked out pictures, but TOO MANY! I have to go through them again and choose. my mom just finished picking hers and i have to give the photos to my in-laws to pick theirs. my album appointment is mid-may. you are not the only one who is slow here.i haven't given my montage pictures or music for my video yet, if that makes you feel better. that will probably take a year! oh and i had 2 friends that didn't finish their albums until after 2 years of marriage!!

We haven't picked out our album photos, songs for the video, or parent album photos and we've been married over a year.

Oh thank god, i havent picked mine either. Were planning on looking through them tonight again. I still didnt pick the one for the thank you either.. which is know is so bad...

Haha you are definitely not the only one...we just finished our video a month ago and received it
and now it's onto the ALBUM lol...I separated the pics into categories like Ceremony, Reception, Morning Of, etc but that's it. I am a little confused about the layouts (what happens once I choose the pics?) and I have to call/meet with our photog to see...good luck!!P.S. I will search my notebook for threads I put in it of how to start your wedding albums and see if I can bump them for you!!

Yes I know it is very overwhelming! Dh and I only started picking them in Feb! It's still an on-going process for us. Now we have to proof the pictures to make sure they are cropped.Here is a tip that I found helpful! Use post-its! Dh and put post-its on the ones we really loved and then when we were done looking through the entire album we counted them, and went back and tried to decide which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of! Hope this helps!

No worries sweetie! I haven't done them either. Our anniversary is coming up in a month. It's so confusing and it's a long process to have to select from almost 3000 images. I'm so overwhelmed with work and everything else that is going on in life. I find it impossible to actually find time to sit down and go through it all. I guess, the best way to do it is to actually find a day that you are virtually free from chores, anything at all and go through your photos. Print out the images and mark them. When you're done, pick as as many as it takes to fill up your album depending on your package. For ex. my wedding album with Duet is 30 images so it's basically max 60 pics. That's a lot of photos for me to choose from!!

havent picked out pics for amlbum or songs for my video.... i just cant seem to decide on songs and going through CDs of ppictures is going to be a PIA to do my album

I also have not done mine. And I NEVER thought I would be 'that girl' the one who cannot deal with doing her album, it's too overwhelming!
