My heart feels like a ticking time bomb...
I posted my concerns regarding my invitations a few days ago. I went to three post offices. One of them said that my envelope is considered a small parcel and would cost 1.57. The other two post offices said that .78 was enough. I dont know about you, but I think that's quite a difference in price. Great Neck post office swore that my invitation would get through standard mail with .78. So.....I finally made the decision to send myself one. Well, it hadnt arrived the next day. So, then we decided to put another stamp on the invtations (now 1.32) and just send them out that day since we are already late with sending them. The following day, my invitation comes all bent with marks all over it. There was no postmark on it and crayons marks going through the two stamps, which I guess means that it wasnt enough postage? F@*king post office!!!! So now I am FREAKING OUT that 1.32 is not going to be enough and all of my invitations will be sent back. How much postage did everyone put on their rectangular 5x7 pocketfolds? Mine has a flat ribbon with a monogram tag and three inserts. I am PRAYING that 1.32 is going to be enough!!!!!

I think mine was 69 cents and i had a rhinestone buckle! $1.32 sounds crazy! When u take it to the post office ask them to hand cancel it- it stops it from going through one of the machines

my 5x7 pocketfolds were soooo heavy! I used heavy linen cardstock paper, stickers, and rhinestones...and they only cost 59 cents each!

Hi Debbie...The fact that you did get the invite means that it was sent so it's probably enough...if it wasn't it would have ben returned to you (lol) with a stamp that says 'Insufficient Postage.' I have gotten mail before that didn't have a postmark, it just means that it somehow missed the postmark and you can use the stamps again lol
