Silly but still feels good...does this make me a bad person??

You will probably think I am a horrible person but something one of my BMs just emailed me made me smile (in a mean sorta way).

Last year, when she got married in Alabama in June (HOT!), she picked these god-awful baby blue satin dresses with absolutely no style whatsoever...FH called them 'milkmaid dresses.' When I called in my measurements...well, it musta been my big hips, because I ended up with a dress two sizes too big. I actually put it on OVER my business suit and it was STILL HUGE. FH and my brother, who was in town visiting, were on the floor laughing. I ended up spending $100 in alterations.

Today, I got this email from that same woman:

>>I got my dress yesterday...thanks for sending. I tried it on and unfortunately I am going to need some major alterations (it's pretty huge - I could probably fit another bridesmaid in there with me! )

Now I'm not one for paybacks, but I can't say I was too upset to hear this...actually, it made me laugh pretty hard. Am I a terrible person???

No,it doesn't make you a bad person. You can relate because it happened to you.
We all laugh at things like that.
Haven't we all laughed when you see someone trip?
Can't help it.Of course if they got injured when they tripped, it wouldn't be funny.

Not at all, all BM dresses seem to be huge! So laughing at that is natural. As long as you didn't purposely order a dress two sizes too big on purpose... tee hee hee... just kidding, I'm sure you didn't.

I ordered my BM dresses according to the measurements everyone gave me and they are really big too.

Funny how BM dresses run big and wedding gowns run small. I think it's a conspiracy.

Actually, I wasn't even the one who ordered the dress at all! She called in her own measurements!

Alison, that is too funny! I remember talking to you last year about that BM dress. You should definitely write back to her and say 'Hopefully you won't have to spend $100 on alterations like I did for your BM dresses'
