How did people know about your wedding website?
We want to inform people that we have a personal wedding website (for hotel info, directions, registry, etc.). Can you include a small slip of paper in the invitations that says something like 'For further details, go to D....andC...com'? What is ettiquette regarding this detail?

Re: How did people know about your wedding website?
Since our wedding is in 2 1/2 months, you are not sending out STD cards. Do you think it is okay to put a slip of paper in our invitations? A cousin who got married recently did this, but people needed to RSVP using their website - they did not have response cards.

We included a trifold direction/information card with our invites. The front fold had our names, wedding date and webesite information, holtel information, ceremony and reception directions and times were inside.A number of guests commented on how helpful it was to have everyting toghether on one mangable card.

Re: How did people know about your wedding website?
I e-mailed everyone with the web site info, and then I also put a little slip of paper in the invitation. Here's what it said....Visit our Web Page!
www.address.com
password: secret
-Get the scoop on the Bride and Groom.
-Engagement Story.
-Meet the Bridal Party.
-Details of the Wedding and Reception.
-Preview the Menu.
-Hotel and shuttle information.
-Sign our guestbook.
-Check for updates.
It was done in a pretty font on a silver/gray parchment type paper. They came out very nice!

Re: How did people know about your wedding website?
I made a business card with a bride and groom asking people to visit the website. I'm going to ask them to put the cards in the shower invatations, because I didnt have this site when I did the STD. If you want to try a cool site try weddingtracker.com Its a pay site, but you get more space and ability to put in pictures then with the non pay sites! It was worth it! They also have a link to the registrys with out it being the first thing they see when they go on the site like in the Macys one.
