New house/address card to send

I want to send out something to our friends and family with our new address on it, but I want it to be something fun and different. Anyone have any ideas or have come across something cool in your web surfing travels?

Re: New house/address card to send

Not to brag but ours went over well. I dont have a copy here but the basic design consisted of a map on the front from mapquest of our new neighborhood with our name and address overprinted right near the spot our house is shown on the map and We've Moved! printed across the bottom. On the inside we did a pix a block of houses with our new information. I was really happy with the way they came out and received a lot of compliments.

Re: New house/address card to send

I'd made our own on our own computer and wedding theme stationery. The text are as follows:

'We are delighted to announce our new address, effective XXX date.
Nicholas & Tina Hislastname
address
city, state zip
Cell number: His
Cell number: Hers
E-mail: His
E-mail: Hers

[Photo of us in our new home]
[Website of our wedding pictures]
[Recycle symbol]'

Since it's wedding theme stationery that I have leftover from our Pre-Wedding Party and Rehearsal Dinner invites I didn't want it to go to waste. So, I printed our move announcements on this paper with a recycle symbol.

Re: New house/address card to send

At Kates Paperie, there is are a bunch of moving cards you can use. One of them was shaped like a dress and said 'change of a dress' which I thought was cute but might not be your style.

In any case, there are lots of options you can buy. Or you can just design your own if you have some ideas.

Here are some i found on the web:

Re: New house/address card to send

I had my wedding invite calligrapher create ours. They were beautiful, very formal.

Re: New house/address card to send

We closed in November and have not moved in yet ... poor us!!! But we almost there and expect to move in May ... I tell you I'm moving to Texas!

I posted about this same topic a few months ago. I intend to do a picture type card.

Re: New house/address card to send

I haven't found the right one yet, but what I envision is something fun and informal....something that makes people smile when they open it...it will say something like 'We've Got a New Nest!' or something to that effect....I'll post a copy when I get around to ordering them!
