Question about introductions..

Both of FH's parents are doctors. Should we have them introduced during the reception as Doctors....or as Mr. and Mrs.??? I have no idea what we're supposed to do...

Actually I asked my parents about this...since my dad is a Dr. and is inviting many dr. friends....apparently the formal way is 'Dr. and Mrs. so and so,' even if the wife is also a doctor!! gooo figure!! So when FH and I get married and we are both Drs....i'm not going to be addressed as a Dr. on any type of formal invite hahaa

but ask FH's parents what they would prefer b/c you dont have to do it the way i just mentioned...I'm sure you can introduce them however you'd like.

Thanks girls! I think I'll def speak to FH's parents and see how they would like to be introduced.

Sandy..that's crazy that even if the wife is a Dr. she is still referred to as Mrs!

That's so strange! If FH's parents want to be introduced as Drs then I will probably have both his mom and dad introduced as Drs. For example, Drs Dad's First Name and Mom's First Name Last Name.

OMGGGG that is annoying!!!!!! After all that hard work, I'd want the recognition! that's BS
