Lets talk about the preggo plan......

Whats everyone's plans on this? I feel like we've brought it up before, not sure if I've ever seen it on a thread though..

Our plan (for now) is getting all our physicals, check ups, etc and getting a clean bill of health. We'll most likely go off BC in 6 months or so.

DH is selling his co-op, so once that sells we'll definitely go off the pill (if it happens sooner than 6 months)

I don't think we'll ever be going though a TTC moment, hopefully it will just happen on its own without really trying too hard.

we are up in the air...we want to wait until we buy a house and are out of the condo so probably 2 years or so

Our original plan was to stop trying not to have one next fall, but possibly putting that off depending on my career or lack there of.

We are probably going to wait till Im done or almost done with my masters. We'll probably start really trying in a year or so. I dont mind going to school preggo but I dont want to be giving birth on the floor doring my finals either!

Def not anytime soon, but as we all know, accidents do happen... We have alot that we have to settle and sort through first before bringing someone else into this crazy world! I'd like the first before I'm 30 so that gives us like 3 yrs

At heart I would like to start trying right away, but realistically we will wait about two years. We want to move upstate (like, Syracuse upstate) because for what we paid for our co-op, we can have a beautiful 4 bedroom house with a backyard. (We went to a few open houses in September and it was shocking.) So, once we can facilitate a move up there and go on a few more vacations ...

Our plan was.....

Since we dated 4 yrs before we were engaged & then 5 years by the time we were married, we knew we wanted to get pregnant at least six months after the 'I do's'. Since we both own homes & even though we know we are looking for another we are pretty solid & secure with that. If we werent i would have waited until we bought something. Six months came & we were pretty bogged down with alot of events. So we never really tried to concieve. Even though i was never on BC we still were being careful because we knew we had to much going on. Once things slowed down for us we decided to not be careful & BAM! PREGO!!! First try (which wasnt really trying since i wasnt supposedly ovulating that week). HAHA yeah right! In any case we are elated.

For all those who do decide just remember to relax & have fun. Also even though it says u will ovulate this particular week (according to your last period) i suggest trying the week before & after because u may be like me & ov. early or sometimes people ov. late. So basically do it all the time! lol HAVE FUN ALL!


OH BTW - I definitely went to the GYN & Primary care doctor & got my check ups & mammogram before anything & in Sept i started taking prenatals with DHA & Oct we were prego.

we're so not ready yet. I'm 28 and trying to figure out my career. I think early 30's.

I know I'm still young (26) and have a lot of time but if I could get pregnant tomorrow I would. Our real plan is to buy a house soon - we're actively looking - and then start trying in the summer. This is my last month of bc pills and I just started prenatals this month.

We plan to start trying in about 6 months. In some ways we should wait more bc DH is just graduating in Dec and doesn't have a job yet but my clock is ticking and I don't want to wait until my eggs are too old! I just turned 37 last Tuesday so feel like we have to jump on it or we'll be in the home at our kids graduation!

We are ready and about to start....Officially in Jan but unofficially next monday when I get my all clear from my surgery

We want to take one more big trip before we start trying...I stopped BC because I was having ALOT of problems on the pill with spotting and such. I think I was just on too long...

We are going to be careful and try to go to Hawaii for my 30th. Hopefully we will make a little hula dancer while we're there

We are in the process of buying a house right now and I'm finishing graduate school...so this weekend we talked about starting to try in July or August.

as soon as we have a house we are pretty much going to start tyring...im hoping that happends by the summer...we are stuck in our lease for our apt till june so it wont be before that...

Well I had WANTED a honeymoon baby..instead I got an engagement baby..I found out I was preggo during my BFF's destination wedding..I joke and say I got pregnant for her on her honeymoon.

So now we want to wait until our son is 2 to try again.

We are waiting a while.

We have so much to do before we are settled down with children. Travel as much as possible now and have fun. I mean, honestly I mentally feel like I am 18. Not ready for a baby AT ALL. SO, when I get that readiness, that's when. Not sure when that will be...

Me too!

I feel like I'm so not ready for a child. Plus I work with kids and after an hour I'm like 'okay go HOME!' lol

We've been officially trying for 3 months now. Althouhg w/ me not being able to find a job right now - I am worried how we would financially support a child if we were to get pregnant, but Im already 38 & dont want to wait much longer to try either - I already know that being over 35 there are more health risks, so I'm stuck between a rock & a hard place. Im trying to take it one day at a time & if it's Gods' plan for us to get pregnant sooner than later- I am hoping it's also in his plan to find me a job to to help us be able to afford having a child.
