Ordering Invitations: Online or in Person
I went to my local florist where my sister got her invites. I saw a few I liked and found them all online. Did most of you go somewhere in person to do them or did you order online? Is the price the same usually? Did you find one way was easier than another? Thanks!

I'm getting custom invites and ordering them online. When I was looking at regular invites from a book, I found the online prices cheaper. I would look at them first in person though bc one I like online, in person looked cheap and flimsey.

i'm getting custom ones online too... they usually send physical samples in the mail so you can see them in person before you place the order, bigger companies also allow you to purchase samples before ordering

Re: Ordering Invitations: Online or in Person
I walked into 'Have You Heard?' in Bellmore 10 min before closing (I didnt know beforehand) and they treated me really well. They still took time to show me some sample invites. There were so many to chose from that I did'nt stay long and asked a few questions instead. You can order from them online, and if you find a few you are interested in, they can send you samples so you can see the materials first hand. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use them I just have to figure out what invitation I want.

I used someone in person and it was a disaster, and by far the hardest part of the planning process for us. If you can find online, I recommend doing that.

On-line. But I was sure to order a bunch of samples first before deciding on which vendor to go with.

Re: Ordering Invitations: Online or in Person
I ordered my e-party invites online bc stores were a lot more money, but I was stupid and didn't ask for a sample first. When they came, the ribbon that came with them was flimsy and looked terrible (nothing like the pic). I ended up going to Michael's and spent $60 on better ribbon to jazz them up. So make sure you always ask for samples!!Welcome New Vendors
