10'er question: What are you/did you wear under your gown?

my dress is very heavy and i tried it on with a bra and slip and i was sweating with in seconds and it was just so much material.

my back is a corset so i was thinking of nixing the bra but im unsure with the slip.

what did you girls wear under your dresses?

im wearing a corset but im wearing a bra bc it fit much better, im also wearing a full slip

I was gonna wear spanx, but under my corset dress i really didn't need them, the corset pulls you in so much. Same with bra -- didn't need it with the corset dress, which i was SO surprised about because I'm very busty. So, just blue underwear. :)

i would advise wearing as little as you can underneath, you're going to be dancing and everything so the less, the better.

I wore boyshorts and nothing else. Wear the least that you can is my suggestion. I had cups put in so I didnt have to wear a bra or anything......I ended up being soooooo comfy the day of.

I had cups put in and a blue thong...nothing else...the less the better in my book!

I had on blue underwear, control top panty hose and that was it. My dress was also SUPER heavy and tight and a bra would have just made it unbearable.

I wore a corset that was very low cut in the back. Boy shorts. Thigh high stockings. I think I had the ones that just stay up on their own. Or I had a garter belt to hold them up. Not sure. I didn't wear a slip. My dress had so much material underneath I didn't need it. Go to georgette's on 107 near the magic shop. It is in that shopping center. Little old Italian lady. She is awesome, and if you tell her what your dress is like or bring a picture she will help you. She also will let you return things if you take them to a fitting and they don't work with the dress. Oh, and remember to bring snow boot or uggs just in case you can wear them under the dress for photos in the snow. No one will ever know.

thanks ladies! i think when i go to my next fitting in december i am going to try it without the slip and without the bra. i agree that less is better.

and nicole..i know!! i feel like it has taken forevr but now i am 3 months away..so exciting!

Yup a corset & a thong. My dress was full didnt need the extra slip. I had teh crinolin under it already & that was enough.
