Surprised or Not Surprised???

So my 2 sisters are insisting on trying to surprise me for my shower. I am the type of person that hates surprises and would much rather know about it in advance LOL.... plus I don't see how they are going to pull it off when I know its coming... any one being involved in the planning of their own shower or at least know when it is???

I didnt want my shower to be a surprise. We decided I would know what the date of it was and the time but anything else could be a surprise. I had my mother coming in from OOT so I knew it would be difficult to keep it all a secret anyway.

I dont like surprises...but my family insisted that I wouldnt know when it was. I ended up being surprised and it was actually nice. Grant it I would have liked to have my hair done (I had roots) and I wasnt wearing my outfit when I walked in (they brought it for me to change) but it was still a good surprise!

Thats soo all I want to know --haha--just WHEN it is so that i can be prepared... everything else is all them ... i can't take anymore planning anyway!

My mom is keeping me in the know about some parts of the shower. She gets to excited to keep secrets. LOL!

I told her she better at least tell me the date so I can show up looking cute and not like I rolled out of bed to go do wedding errands with her.

my mom and sis(MOH) will be flying in from Flo for the shower and they have already informed me that its gonna be in April and even possible locations of where it could be.. i just want to know the exact date so i can look nice for it

I'm planning my shower with my Mom. I went with her to book the restaurant, I ordered the invites, I'm picking the favors with her, etc. I need to be involved in everything plus I personally don't like the idea of a surprise. I feel like you're expected to do something when everyone yells 'surprise' like start crying and that's just not me.

I have to help my mom plan it actually and it would be very hard to be a surprise considering I'm only in NY for a month at a time and lots of pplw ould be coming from OOT and I would know about it ;)

I figure I am planning a wedding... thats enough for me, I want nothing to do with planning the bridal shower! I'm not a fan of surprises, but I would rather be surprised than have to make one more decision than I already have to!

I would want to be surprised with the place. The only thing I want to know is the date. I wouldn't want to show up to my own shower looking like I just rolled out of bed..

I want to be surprised but am so nosy that I always find out everything. I also am very sneaky with asking certain questions so I can figure it out. But when it comes closer to it i told my sis she has to hold the outfit Im going to wear so i can change into it!

Its hard for me to give up control with things but I trust my BP knows me well enough for me to love it. I totally love surprises too. I think you should go for the surprise.
