Re: Hawaii Honeymoon

We are doing Oahu for 4 nights and then Maui for 6.

it really depends what your looking for or what you and your fh like to do.

Oahu has a bunch of sightseeing but it is more city-like. Maui is supposed to be beautiful but still a lot of things to do. if u want to see all the volcanoes and stuff though you could go to Kona (Big Island)....or Kuaui is supposed to be beautiful and more of a romantic island.

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon

We are going to Oahu for 2 nights, 5 nights in Maui and 4 nights in Kona.

From my research and recommendations, I hear you definitely have to do Maui. It has the best of both worlds, relaxation and activities. Its absolutely breathtaking.

Oahu, is a big city, but lots of tourist attractions.

Kauai, is beautiful, but its mainly for R&R, they have tons of spas and beautiful scenery.

Kona has lots of activites and the active volcano.

HTH!

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon

It seems like a lot of first timers do oahu and maui. In 10 days, I would probably keep it to 2 islands. We are doing Oahu, Maui and Kaui in 13 nights.

Re: Hawaii Honeymoon

We're going Oahu for 2 nights, Kauai for 4 nights and Maui for 6 nights.

Oahu - city island - see the Arizona, Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach

Maui - Road to Hana, Mama's Fish House... dormant volcano you can bike ride down, hads night life and excellent sight seeing, snorkeling, ziplining, etc. Best of all worlds and hosts The Old Lahaina Luau, which is suppose to be the best

Kauai is more for relaxing, but there is plenty of hiking, take a helicopter ride, most waterfalls and great spas.
