Getting Ready for your wedding
Hi girls! So we started seeing photographers and they have been asking where we plan on getting ready. I really haven't thought about this! Most of my BM's are out of town and they'll be staying @ a hotel. I thought we'd all get ready @ Crest Hollow? Or should we get ready @ the hotel?! My house?!

I'm getting ready at La Quinta in Garden City with my BM's on the day of. The suite is huge and it will be so much fun to get ready all together......It's about 15-20 minutes from Crest Hollow. But if your house is big enough for all those people to be there get ready at home and save the money. Unfortunately my house is not.

Re: Getting Ready for your wedding
It really depends on what's important to you. Some people wouldn't think of getting ready anywhere other than their parent's house. I really don't care about getting ready at home so I'm getting ready at Oheka Castle with my bridal party. FH will get ready here too with his groomsmen but in a different part so we don't see each other. We'll go to the Church from there then back to the castle for the reception. I say get ready where you want.

I think whatever works best for u that day. I am doing my makeup at my dads (where I am staying the night before) then going to the salon to get my hair done. Then going to the RH gonna put my dress on there....

Re: Getting Ready for your wedding
Me and the girls in the BP are getting ready at the hotel next door to the RH, the hair and makeup people are coming to house and doing it there at the hotel and then we will just go right next door to the RH.My mom's house will be a zoo the day of and won't be the best place to have everyone get ready and my house will have all the guys getting ready, so I decided to stay at the hotel the night before with some of the girls and the rest of the girls will meet us there.

Re: Getting Ready for your wedding
I got hair and makeup done at my house and then dressed and accessorized at the hall.....but do what works for you. If your BMS are staying at the hotel you can always drop your dress off and leave it in one of their rooms the night before and then just go there to get ready

Re: Getting Ready for your wedding
I will probably be getting ready in a hotel room with my BP. My apartment is too small to have 9 girls plus myself. I think it would be a great idea to get a suite and have all my girls getting ready with me!

Re: Getting Ready for your wedding
I thought that I was going to be getting ready at the hotel room in my venue, but I cant find a makeup artist or hairstylist to come and do just me in my price range.I may just leave to get my hair and makeup done and return to the hotel (there are a ton of places in the area).
But- I'm not sure how that will affect the time line for the photographer yet.

I'm going to be getting ready at my mom's house and have the BM meet me there. They're getting their own hair and makeup done.

Re: Getting Ready for your wedding
I'm going to get ready at my house. All of my BMs will probably just get ready at home and then come to my house (they only live a few minutes away). I want to take pics at my house before the church. You should do whatever makes you happy. You don't want to be stressed on your big day.Welcome New Vendors
