POLL: Are you doing a second dance?

are you doing a second dance with the BP? also known as a good luck dance?

i originally was going to but now i am seeing that some girls skipped it.
what are you doing?

I don't think we're going to do a second dance w/ just the BP, but I do think we are going to a second slow song immediately after 'our' song


ETA: for everyone, not just for BP

We're thinking about it... we want to do a faster dance but everyone keeps telling us that should be our second dance and our first dance should be a slower one...

we are going to start with the BP and then invite everyone else, for now, this can all change in the next couple of weeks

Tell them to shove it Our first dance song is You're My Best Friend by Queen....NOT slow. It feels like us so we are doing it (and getting it choreographed so we don't look like dopes)


We are not gonna do a second dance just for the BP...I don't want people to be standing around for 2 songs just watching us (i'm afraid they'll get bored). If you want to include the BP, my MOH had the BP come onto the floor about halfway through her first song...then about 3/4 of the way through the DJ invited everyone else onto the floor. I thought it was nice.

I think the idea of having the BP join is cute but our BP is uneven, not everyone is going to have a guest there to dance with, & there are some ex bfs & gfs involved in the BP, so I think for us it would be more of a production trying to figure out who is dancing wwho.

I DO like the idea of a second dance though, I personally like a slower progression into the party at that point

We chose not to do this because we wanted everyone to be a part of the reception as soon as possible...We also didnt want to be 'spotlighting' ourselves more than once...that was just us though!

definitely not!!!! we want to invite everyone to dance like 5 seconds into our first song. we're both awful dancers and HATE being in the spotlight!!!

we're starting w/our slow song first dance...i have the times written down somewhere but about 2 mins into the song, BP is going to come in, then about a 45 secs after that invite the rest of the guests to dance for tha last minute or whatever

We are going to start with a slow song, and halfway through its going to turn into a fast song ( we are dorks) that we are going to have a choreographed dance to...we might use our BP as guinea pigs and make them be our backup dancers...we'll see!

No...we don't have plans to do this. Although if FH had his way, we would have me change into a second dress to do some sexy salsa or rhumba midway through the reception.

nope I just want to have our first dance alone then get the party started I probably will do an the anniversary dance down sometime during the wedding.

Since I'm not having a BP, I thougt we would do the slow dance then, would start with Prince 'Let Go Crazy,' and have everyone on the floor. I want the party to start from there.
