I bought a leather sectional a few years ago from Seigermans on rte 110.
I love the furniture there..
Seamens is running there ' make no payments till Jan. 2005 right now if you wanted to take advantage of that.

You can laugh - but many people I know are buying their furniture from North Carolina. You go to the furniture stores here and check out what you want and then once you have the style numbers or pictures you call down there and you can get them for significantly better prices - shipping/delivery is also much cheaper - they will fax you a picture of the item and a price quote. For example my mother got a new dining room set - that was a couple thousand for about 40-50% off of the prices at the top furniture stores here. My friends were able to buy some gorgeous pieces that way -

I heard about that North Carolina furniture from work. Do you get the exact same piece/make? Sounds good I'm going to check if they have a website. That's funny about writing down the model number and stuff because today I did go to some places and I had a pen and pad - because honestly I will forget all the prices by the time I get home :o) anyway all the sales people were staring at me and they even asked what I was writing down. I'm going to try this thanks.

Wouldnt they charge alot to make a delivery like that?
I guess it depends on how much your saving..I think it sounds like a great idea though since all the stuff around here comes from there anyways.

NO that is the best thing about it - it was cheaper ALL AROUND - some places cost more for delivery but if you are saving 1000 or more what is an extra 200$ you are still saving money - mom wants me to furnish my entire house thru them - I'm not sure you can do it online - I think there are some 1800 numbers -but not sure. YES it is the same items - same quality and same make. Now I can't say all the places are equal. But my mother is VERY conscientious about what she has in her home - and everyone always LOVES how she has hers furnished - geez I hope my house is as nice some day. I'm sorry that is really all I know - I can ask her for more information.

Etd to say apparently you are paying factory prices and not paying for the middle man that is why it is so much cheaper - but I know they have saved thousands by doing it

I second Seigerman's, and The Place, which is directly across the street, also has great stuff.
