RD...how close to the wedding day?

Is it the night before...two nights before? A week before...i really have no idea

We have to do it the night before since most of the bp and all of my family are coming from out of town, many from out of state. I'd do it the week before if I could.

we did ours 2 nights before...(fri night)

this was b/c DH's uncle (father figure) wanted to open a bottle of scotch and a few bottles of wine...and didn't want to be hung over for the wedding...lol

since they were hosting it...it sounded good to me!

We are getting married on a Friday night and having the rehearsal dinner the day before because my Fi's family lives upstate as well as one of my bridesmaids so I didn't want them to have to take too many days off from work...but if everyone lived in a closer proximity to me I would have had it on a wed (2 nights before)

Ours were a policital and control debate that lasted a year an a half but was compromised for a Wednesday night. Our wedding was on a Saturday. Our RD was a lot of arguing and cat fights but really should have been on the night before our big day--Friday before our Saturday wedding.
