Cute Places to eat in Northport/Kings Park/Commack areas ?


Im going out to eat with my best friend and we're taking John Anthony with us too. Its for lunch on a Saturday. Im looking for a new place, cant decide whether we want Chinese or Italian, or just a grill type place. Are there any places with outside seating around here ?

Someone I used to work with told me to try Ciou Baby in Commack. They said its Italian and the place is really nice. I never checked it out yet.

I heard Ciao Baby is good, too, but expensive. I have not been there. I do not think there is outside seating.

Ciao Baby is good.
It's not really expensive because it's family style, like Carmine's in the city, so it's just a lot of food for the $$$. Probably not the best option for 2 people and lunch.

Mario's in Commack is always good. Can't think of an outdoor place though Anna. Northport is fun since you can walk the baby around and eat at the Sweet Shop, get ice cream, especially on a nice day! Have fun!

yep I plan to go to Northport Village after lunch Ive eaten at the little TEENY TINY diner there, it was cute, but way too small for me to stroll in with a stroller !

hmm, good ideas girls !

There is a place on Crab Meadow Beach...I think Casa Mia or something like that, in Northport. It is Italian, they have outdoor beach seating. REALLY NICE

Dh and I ate there once, we found it by accident (and LOVEDDDD that beach !!) we werent crazy about the food or the service.
Too bad, because the location was AMAZING !!

We love to go for burgers at skippers in Northport (on the corner of Main Street) or the Ritz right around the corner.

Anna, go to Maroni in Northport. You will LOVE it!!!
It's on Woodbine, down by the water.

I second Skippers.
The Ritz in Northport used to have good food too
but I haven't lived on LI in 5 years so maybe it has changed.
