do you take their word for it. When you go for invitations and see one you like, tell them your wording do they come back with a sample for you to see what it looks like? I went to a place told them them the invitation I like gave them what I want worded they told me it would come in about a week went there and the invitation was blank - where the wording?? They say you have to pay $$ for that I'm shocked is this the case? I have to pay $30 to see an ivitation with my wording.

I'm not really sure how the stores work sorry. I had mine custom made & proffed every step.

we cutom ordered our invites and we did get a sample to proof before we finalized everything.

We had to approve a proof before the printer put all the invites through the press. I don't recall paying extra for the proof and it arrived a few days after we placed our order.

I got a sample proof with my wording on it to approve before all of the invites were printed.
