Has anyone read any Hamptons murder mystery books that are good?

I just heard on News 12 that The Beach by James Patterson and Murder in the Hamptons (don't know the author) are very popular.

I was wondering if it's worth the read?

Kathy,

I am in a book club and that was the last book we read. It was ok. There were some parts that were really 'unreal', but I guess that is what you get for fiction.

I will say that it is a really easy read. I finished it in two days.

I'm not a big James Patterson fan...did you know that he hires ghost writers to write the book for him...with his formula...and then he adds his touches...

I was appalled when I found that out...

Thats like those VC Andrews books... I loved the originals, but she died about 10 years ago and all the new books have her name on it!! And they are all the same story over and over again. But I didn't know that about James Patterson.... maybe I won't read his new books.

I just finished The Beach House by James Patterson. It was written by him and Peter DeLonge. It was good! Very interesting twist at the end. And it was cool to see them mentioning all the Hamptons places that I know.

I also liked The Beach House. The new book, 'The Lake House', I think its called, just came out by Patterson, but DeJonge was not on this book.
