GIRLS I NEED MORAL SUPPORT

I JUST GOT HOME FROM MY GRANDMA NURSING HOME. SHE STOP BREATHING AT 8:30PM TODAY AND TOMMROW IS MY BIRTHDAY. THE ONE THING I WANTED WAS TO SEE MY GRANDMA AT MY WEDDING, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO BE HAPPY IF SHE IS NOT THERE.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know what to say except that she is probably in a more comfortable place and will be looking down on you on your wedding day. I am really sorry!!

I understand how you feel. I lost my grandma in April, and I am sad that she wont be at my wedding. Im sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your los. I understand how you feel because my grandmother passed away 2 years ago and I wish that she could be at my wedding next weekend but she is always with me in spirit as your grandmother is always with yours.

I understand how you feel - I lost my grandmother in April as well, and I have a hard time with her not being able to be at my wedding.

at least she has gone on to a better place....perhaps you could add to your ceremony a memorial candle to have a memory of her?

Years ago I always envisioned my grandma being at my wedding. She ended up getting very ill and dieing in 1998, and we only got married last september. Even though she was gone for years I stilled missed her presence.

I am very sorry for this to be happening. It is not easy going through this. For our wedding DH brother passed away 11/99 and father passed away 3/95, this was a problem. DH was not sure how he or his mom would be at the wedding. In there honor we had 2 piller candles at the dias, only the family new what each one meant. It was so nice and we still felt as though.

I hope your grandma feels better and I hope all goes well

You and you family are in my prayers.

If, and hopefully not, your grandmother does not make it to your wedding she can still be a part of your service. You can ask you officiate to include a passage or poem about those that can not be there and have a moment of reflection. This may help bring you a sense of peace on your special day and enjoy the rest of the wedding. (We are doing this...)

Sweetie, I know how you feel, my g=ma was not able to attend my wedding and I planned a trip to go back to Jamaica to share my photos and video with her and 2 weeks before my trip she died. I have never felt such emptiness in my life. She raised me and b/c she does not travel/fly she did not attend. I know right now it might seem like all hope is gone, but rest assured, she will live on in your memory. Joy will return I promise you. Do something special at your wedding in her honor. It will get better
