Matron and Maid-where do they go in church?

I know that didn't sound right but my Matron brought it up to me. Who is going to stand next to moi? Her or my sister? Can I have both up there? FH only has one Best Man.

The Maid of honor sits directly next to you and the matron of honor sits to the left of the Maid (at least that's how it was at my friend's wedding in which I was her maid and another friend was her matron)

My matron was my sister and she sat next to me... and my maid sat to the left of my sister. I guess it all depends who you want next to you...

I want them to sit next to me. On FH's side will be his BM.
