ahhhh weight gain
Why is it so easy to gain weight. It seems since I have been dating my husband my weight has been out of control. It stressed me out before the wedding but I was able to keep it tolorable. Since the wedding not so much. Now our 2 year annivarasy is coming up I want wear something nice however am embarassed with the large weight gain. To make it worse he is still as thin as he was when we first met. Its so frustrating. i attached images of me and him over the last 4 years. I hate feeling so self conscious around him. Sorry for the venting

Re: ahhhh weight gain
ok so your diet, you have to be very careful with hidden calories. Drinks, juices, dressings, spreads, etc all add up. sometimes to over an extra 1,000 calories a day.small meals 5 times a day are the best, this way it keeps your metabolism level, and your blood sugar doesnt spike up and down creating extra glucose.
read the labels! make sure there isnt a lot of sodium, stay away from canned products, like canned soups (wayyy to much sodium) canned fruit (sugary syrup) and canned veggies (looses nutrients)
drink a ton of water. you may feel bloated for the first couple days but its your body soaking up that water, and flushing out the toxins.
exercies at least 30-45 minutes a day with your heart reat above 150.
FM me if you have any questions!

I know this is old, but I just came across your post and what I love is that you both look so happy together in each pic - even if you were worrying about your weight, the two of you are clearly so comfortable with each other!

Count those calories and exercise. Two simple rules to live by.

Re: ahhhh weight gain
I know this is old but I swear by walking. I walk 2 miles from my apt to the train and then 20 blocks from Penn Station to work, then 20 blocks from work from Penn and another 2 miles home.My first job in NYC was in the Bryant Park area so it was a nice walk for me. Then when my office moved to the Penn Station area there went my walk... so I started going to Hunterspoint Avenue and getting the 7 and walking from Bryant Park anyway. Now I work in Chelsea so I have my walk back.
If you can find a way to walk everyday, combined with eating right, you will lose it and keep it off. I lost 60lbs over 7 years ago and I have since kept it off. The thing I will say is that it is a lifestyle change. i cannot go back to my old ways or I will gain it all back.
Good luck!
