Tried on Gowns for the first time today!!!!

I went with my mom on a whim to Macy's Bridal while we were at the Mall (lake grove). I liked the first dress I tried on, but it didn't strike me as the one. I felt like a princess- and geez them dresses are heavy. i really just went to get an idea - now to find a retailer that sells the dresses i hav an eye out for.

UGH the worst thing about the dress is how heavy they are!! They don't look it on the rack!

Good luck finding your dream dress!!! Have fun shopping. I knew I wanted mine made so I never went to all the bridal boutiques shopping. I think I will just to try them on and 'experience it'. But it is exciting working with a designer to make my dress

Glad you had fun! I did not want a heavy dress so I got silk. It is much lighter.

I know they are so heavy and guys complain about wearing a tux all day, hello I am wearing a huge dress plus some. men

i finally went with mom and sis today for my very first dress experience also! i got some ideas of styles that look nice on me, but didn't find the ONE. good luck!
