Mommy & Me classes

Can anyone recommend where these might be offered in Nassau (Plainview/Syosset area)?

Re: Mommy & Me classes

I only know of the one I go to in Levittown, which I love. They are all over. Have you checked the pennysaver? What about Gymboree classes? They have them at Gymboree in the Broadway mall. Also look at the calender of events from your local library. They always have things for kids broken up by age group. I now have Justin in a Pajama Night on Wednesday at 7 - they go there in their pjs, with their favorite bear, toy, etc... and have stories read to them, best part about that - its free

Re: Mommy & Me classes

I can't offer anything but a few questions (I hope I don't sound too uninformed)

What ages are these classes for?
What exactly do you do?

I never really considered it for us, because I figured it would be impossible to do with twins. But now that they are sitting up, I'm wondering if it is something we could try.

Thanks.

Re: Mommy & Me classes

My SIL does Mommy & me type classes with my Twin nieces--- she started a bit later than most moms cause she thought she couldnt handle it and regretted it a bit(the mom's from the first class really bonded made friends, etc) but once she started she loved it-- it got hard though- especially at the crawling stage, etc-- adn they also go to swimming classes and have for a while but that is on weekends when my brother is there--imagine holding 2 in a pool--
I give you lots of credit-- i have watched the girls for days at a time(the most being 5 but mostly long weekends) and twins are really really really tough!!! which I am sure you already know-- Anna --at least this time I didnt say 'I wouldn't wish twins on anyone!!!'
