Mom's 50th Surprise B-day party-help!!!

Ok, heres the deal. My Dad and I decided we are going to throw her a surprise Holloween Bday party-costumes are required. She always wanted to go to one so now its for her. So does anyone have any good ideas for food or decorations?

Oh...that is so nice!! I went to a surprise party where they had jackolaterns as centerpieces. with candles in them...candy corn sprinkled all around teh tables..lots of black and orange streamers..I know you have probably already thought of this..but it looked GREAT!!! Teh food I think was just catered Italian..it wsa great...buffet style..
