Re: Love, Illuminated, by Lexi-Bella Photography's Great Wedding giveaway!
My fiancé Tai and I met through eHarmony in November of 2009. After our first few mini conversations through the site we exchanged face book information which led quickly to phone numbers. We spent days talking about what we liked, what we were looking for in a person and what we wanted our futures to become. It was obvious that we were meant to be dating. We became inseparable after our first date, which turned quickly into a second, third and so on. On July 2, 2011, Tai asked me to be his wife and I obviously was ecstatic to say yes! I feel that our relationship is special because we’ve spent our whole relationship living in two different states. Although at times, well, all the time, it’s hard to be apart, it’s truly made us a very strong couple. We have been through a lot together and grown into the couple we are today. This wedding means a lot to us and we hope that our “fun” sides get to show. Tai is very into abstract things where I’m more simple. We are excited to combine our personalities into this wedding and have a blast doing it.
We’ve just begun our planning process so the only vendor we have booked would be our venue. Our wedding will be March 2, 2013 at Lombardi’s on the Bay in Patchogue. We’re excited to start booking other vendors soon. I’ve been researching many different things for the wedding to make it unique. We would like to have a photo booth, we’re going to be donating to a cause which we are both passionate about in lieu of favors and because my fiancé is Chinese, we will be doing a traditional tea ceremony at his home. I’d like to incorporate the color purple into the wedding as far as flowers and dresses go. If we end up doing centerpieces I’d like to use those to accent the purple theme as well. Tai is going to attempt to make our centerpieces using faux tree branches, crystals and other accents, we will see how this turns out!
We are so excited for our wedding!

Re: Love, Illuminated, by Lexi-Bella Photography's Great Wedding giveaway!
My name is Michelle Morano and i'm engaged to a wonderful man named Herb Glass. Herb and I met in the summer of 2007 while working a summer camp geared towards students with special needs. At first, it seemed as though the only thing we held in common was our love for children. However, we both quickly realized that this was just the tip of the ice-burg. As we began to get to know each other, and he eventually mustered up the courage to ask me out (the best move of his life), it was soon apparent how compatible we were. We shared the same love of music, sports, food, movies, and so on and so fourth. Most importantly Herb and I shared the same love for a good time, and really brought the best out in one and other.Herb and I truly are a special and fun couple. For starters, we are young and almost married(22 & 23). We are fighting the financial burdens of a Long Island wedding despite still being in college and against our bank accounts wishes. On top of the dollars and cents issue, planning a wedding while trying to succeed in college, being 4 hours away from home, while working a full time job and traveling all over the Northeast to watch Herb play Division 1 football are just some of the things I am trying to balance on my proverbial wedding plate. And fun, oh yes- we make time for plenty of fun. Weekend getaways and road trips are a staple to our relationship. Every year we make a new 'summer bucket list' and try to complete it. As per our 2011 summer list, we road our bicycles 45 miles through the streets of New York City in Bike NY, saw our favorite band play (OAR) two nights in a row, attended multiple NY Mets games, and gambled the weekend away in Atlantic City. (five dollar tables of course!)
Our wedding will be taking place on July 3rd, 2012 at the beautiful Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow. We are going with a fourth of july theme, fully equipped with fireworks, sparklers, and a color scheme of red, white, and blue with bursts of yellow. Our adopted puppy, Roxy, will be playing the part of flower 'dog' trotting down the isle in a little white dress. Our overly sized wedding party consists of overly sized football players and fun-loving college girls all sporting my favorite color, horizon blue. Some personal touches we've added to make our wedding extra 'us' is an old fashion photo booth fully equipped with silly props, football jerseys and equipment scattered throughout our reception. At our cocktail hour, next to the tuna tar tar and filet mignon baguettes, there will be a pub station filled with wings, beers, sliders and other sinfully good treats along with pass along grilled cheese bites. These fun and tasty college favorites are there to represent our tastes and ensure that our spirit is present at cocktail hour, even if we are not!
The final piece of our wedding puzzle is the photographer. It is imperative to us that we capture our once in a life time special day, so that we can relieve in the future! Thank you so much!

Re: Love, Illuminated, by Lexi-Bella Photography's Great Wedding giveaway!
My name is Heather and my fiancee Jaret and I got engaged on 10 April 2009 on our one year anniversary. He completely surprised me down to the detail of hiring a photographer to hide at the beach and capture every detail.Jaret and I met on e-harmony, he was the first guy I ever met on there and knew right away he would be the only. Our first date was the most ridiculous ever!
We met at a coffee shop (safe place right!) and ended up closing the place down because we were talking so much. He asked me out to dinner so we immediately went out for indian, while there he managed to stab himself with the fork, and his credit card got declined! Turns out the restaurant didn't take Amex, but what a first impression! I thanked him for dinner by taking him out to my favorite bar. Who could have guessed that every person I've ever met in my entire life was at the bar that night, and everyone came up to us, gave him the up and down and the third degree. At the end of the night some of the Airmen who work for me walked in drunk, so I said thank you but I should go. He walked me outside, we had an awkward hug, and as he walked back in front of the bar the airmen jumped to the window and started knocking!!
We're special because we've had to overcome a lot in our relationship. I'm active duty military and a year into our relationship I had to go away for a year, it was only 2 months after we got engaged! I was only able to come home for two weeks and I didn't think anything could be more difficult. However we persevered and are better because of it. Therefore when we are together we make the most of it. We love going to wineries and concerts, and having fun. Jaret makes me laugh like no one other, we love all the same tv shows and have more inside jokes then people could ever understand. He considers me Liz Lemon from the show 30 Rock(she's awkward, sarcastic and loves donuts!) and he is my Jack Donaghy.
Our wedding is set for 12 May 2012, almost 2 years after we got engaged. Since we love wineries but could not afford to rent one, Giorgio's was the best of both worlds. We are doing a whole vineyard theme with wine/champagne colors, grapes and vines integrated into our invites, placecards, menus and ceremony programs. The placecards will be placed on wine cork holders, and wine bottles will hold the table numbers.
I plan to use lillies all over, but i'm not set on just one color. I love stargazer lillies and I hope to have a cascading bo-k, and I plan on using black calla lillies if possible. The centerpieces will be all low because of the beautiful room at Giorgios.
Red velvet cake is my absolute favorite so we plan on having a simple cake with a vineyard twist (to be determined). Our cake topper was custom made of two penguins, his in a gray tux and me with a veil and a bo-k of calla lillies which is what I'll be carrying on the day of.
I know every detail of what I want, however we haven't finalized much because we were waiting to find out if I was going to be deployed again. When I returned from my year overseas I uprooted Jaret from his entire life on the West Coast to move to New Jersey where my new assignment is. Life has been difficult yet exciting for us.
Now only 7 months away from our chosen date, we're finally getting into the real planning and would LOVE to use Lexi-Bella as our wedding photography. Jaret was a fine arts major in college and photography is very important to both of us. There are lots of great places for pictures besides the grounds of our RH. Down the road is a barn, an old windmill and a barn. I've already scoped all these places out and I think a professional photographer would do a lot more than what even I've envisioned.
Currently besides the venue (Giorgio's), we only have booked LI sound as our DJ and Christine from Piece of Cake events for our DOC.
Attached is the link to my inspiration board, I'll attempt to post some photos of the two of us, more are in my album!

Re: Love, Illuminated, by Lexi-Bella Photography's Great Wedding giveaway!
My name is Jessica Hall. I am engaged to the most Wonderful Man in the World. His name is Mark Mujica. We met in the summer of 2008. My co-worker was holding a game night at his girlfriend’s house and asked me if I would like to come. At this point in my life, I had given up on finding love due to a bad break up. When I got to my friends house, he was on the phone with my soon to be husband Mark. He got lost getting to the house. Since my friend didn't know where he was and I did, I directed him.At this time in our lives, Mark and I were both lost when we met each other. I was still lost in the fact that I didn't know where my life was headed and he was lost getting to the house. When we met for the first time, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful his eyes were. The next few weeks we kept meeting at our friends house and getting to know each other. I never had the courage to tell him that I liked him. Then out of nowhere he dropped off the face of the earth.. He stopped going to the games and we didn't see each other for almost six months. My friend was moving and she found something of Marks. She got in touch with him and he was going to come to her place and get it. This was my second chance. When I found out he was coming, I went to her house. We started talking and I let him know how I felt. I didn't know if I would ever see him again. I wasn't going to blow this one again.
We started going out in March of 2009 and we have been Inseparable ever since. I brought him over to my house about a month after we started dating. Mark met my entire family. My six year old nephew who means the world to me, came up to me when Mark left and said, when he was going to be my Uncle? I knew then and there that Mark was the one for me. Before him my heart was closed. He held the key to open it and I could finally love again. I have never been so happy in my life. He has brought out a lot of good qualities in me that I could never thank him enough for. He made me realize that I am worth it and I deserve the best. On our One Year Anniversary he took me to Port Jeff and proposed to me on the docks in front of people. He is really shy, so this was a huge thing for him and for me. He chose this spot because when he called my friends house that night, he was lost in this area. It feels like everything has come full circle. At this moment of my life, I couldn't be happier.
We are that fun couple that doesn't take life to seriously. We love to play games (video and board games only! lol) go to Sci-fi Conventions, and hang out with our Family and Friends.
For Our Wedding, I am choosing a theme of using Old World Maps, Keys and Books. The Maps to represent both of us being lost and were guided to find each other, Old Keys because he has opened my heart up to love with a key; and Books because it feels like a Storybook Romance. Our Wedding Day is October 20th 2013. Our Venue is The Estate at East Wind
