Approaching 4 months til wedding...what should I have done?

I still have to find a headpiece, haven't booked a trial yet, need invitations, need wedding bands, need limos, need bridal party gifts, need pocketbook, haven't yet booked hair and makeup, my mom still does not have her dress, need flower girl dress, need rehearsal dinner location, need to set up a meeting with our ceremony officiant/priest, and the list goes on...UGH!!!

I feel as if I'm soooooooooo far behind. Am I though? Or, am I just freaking for no reason???

Jen

Re: Approaching 4 months til wedding...what should I have done?

why not just make yourself up a list of what needs to be done - in the order that it needs to be done! then you can start just checking them off the list. don't concentrate on what you need to still get done - but on how quickly you're getting it all done!
good luck!

Re: Approaching 4 months til wedding...what should I have done?

I think you will be alright

If you don't mind some input, I think your next thing is to order invitations. Is there a Party City near you? Or a Hallmark store? They have alot of the books there you can go through. Then book limo or have FH find limos (you know guys and their cars!) Then call Church and schedule appt with priest. Find out the night of rehursal and from there maybe FH can book the rehursal dinner (or his parents, if they are paying). Then book trial makeup, and book hair. I think the rest is not going to take that long to do but the stuff I mentioned should be given the most priority.

You're doing well!! Don't stress

Re: Approaching 4 months til wedding...what should I have done?

Thanks...yes, invitations are definitely next on my list. I think we've found what we want, it's just now a matter of ordering them.

Regarding the priest, we're not getting married in the church...we're having our ceremony at the Milleridge, so we had to find a priest who would marry us. We found him, but we've never even seen him or met him or anything. I'm getting a bit nervous about that...what if we don't feel comfortable with him?
