My 8/16 Wedding Review - Pictures Added (link fixed!!!)

My 8/16 Wedding Review - Pictures Added (link fixed!!!)
Despite the blackout, the day turned out wonderful. The elevator in my building was out so I had to walk down 6 flights of stairs in my gown!!! That was the only bad part of the day.Bridal Couture - A+ My salesperson and seamstress were great and my dress & headpiece looked beautiful.
Hair - Kragen's in Bayside. A+. They did 6 girls hair in 2 1/2 hours and everyone looked magnificent.
Flowers By Brian - A+++++ They carried all of the flowers up 6 flights of steps and they still looked perfect. The room looked beautiful and I felt like there were flowers everywhere.
Royalty Limo A++++ - Also wonderful , the cars were clean and on time and the drivers were friendly and very helpful.
Full View Studios- Photo & Video - A+ Definitely got great pictures but we had to miss our cocktail hour and after a while I had enough posing and smiling. I know in the end it will be worth it.
Current Affair Band - A++++++++++ This band was unbelieveable. The dance floor was packed all night and people were raving about them. Every song they sang sounded like the original. They learned the theme song for Monday Night Football for our entrance and it was perfect!!!
Bridgeview Yacht Club - A++++++++++++++
This place was better then I could have ever expected. They went above and beyond, they made the day even more magical then it already was. Our Bridal Attendent Jeannie was 10 steps ahead of me, I never had an empty plate or glass. The food was amazing and the room looked beautiful. In the middle of the wedding there was a brown out that blew out the air conditioning and one oven they were so professional and made the best of the situation. People were having so much fun that they didnt even realize.
Now we are off to Vegas and Hawaii, I definitely need a vacation after this week.

Congratulations, and what a great story to tell your kids! I'm so glad that you had a wonderful wedding despite the blackout!

That's wonderful...we were worried about the blackout brides...but glad to hear it didn't ruin the day!!! Congrats and have fun on your !!!
