Rehearsal dinner in Queens
Okay, I'm going to have to start looking into places to have my rehearsal dinner in the Bayside/Whitestone/Flushing areas. Any suggestions and does anyone know how much they charge per person?

Re: Rehearsal dinner in Queens
Christine-I was thinking of some place off Bell Blvd like Monahans or Donovans. We had our engagement party at the White House. Cooking with Jazz is also in Whitestone but not everyone likes Cajun and that place is VERY SMALL.Any others???

Mezzaluna in Whitestone? I think it's 149th street around 12th or 14th avenues.

My MOH has her rehearsal dinner at MezzaLuna. I guess we'd consider it a possibility. Their food is very good.

Re: Rehearsal dinner in Queens
The steakhouse would be Napa and Sonoma. I think it would be a little pricy for a rehearsal dinner, no? Also, the restaurant area is kind of small and I'm having 40 people at the rehearsal.

Re: Rehearsal dinner in Queens
Sullivan's on the other side of Bell has good food.Bourbon Street has seperate rooms that would accomodate 40 nicely, really good food and good service. My shower was here.
There's a place along the cross island - Erin's Isle or something like that (around 149th street). I have never been but they seem like they would have a continental menu.
There's also that Italian restaurant in Corona that's supposed to be delicious but the name is escaping me right now.

Re: Rehearsal dinner in Queens
Abbraciamento's is DELICIOUS and I've been there many times but I wanted something closer to my house (same goes for Parkside in Corona).Erin's Isle has great food but they are a little expensive and the place is TINY.

Leap- I grew up in Whitestone and my mom and FH's Mom still live there but we moved to Bayside a few years ago. I went to St. Luke's (along with FH) for grammar school.

Re: Rehearsal dinner in Queens
I had my rehearsal dinner at Il Faggiano (sp?) 17-12 Utopia Parkway in Whitestone. They have a room off to the side where you can have parties. Very resonable prices and a lot of food. We go for dinner every once in a while.I liked Primo Amore on Francis Lewis but they the prices are high and it isn't a very big restuarant.
I also got married at St. Luke's. Father Wilson did our wedding. He was so great.

Re: Rehearsal dinner in Queens
I live close to St. Luke's also although I went to OLBS grammar school.Have you considered Ernesto's on Francis Lewis & 32nd (excellent food, reasonable, they have a separate room--although a bit small).
Pier 25A...Northern, next to the 111 Pct.
Ummmm I'll think of more.
