Duet Video Question

Does the videographer from duet put a microphone on the bride or groom? I forgot to ask.

Thanks! I hate bothering littlecat again, I must have asked her a million questions when I fmed her a while back. What other questions did you ask? (if you don't mind me asking) I always think up random things to ask them, but I keep forgetting to write the questions down!

I don't know, my friend used a different company and the groom wore a small wireless mike for the ceremony so you heard their vows on the video without the church echo. It's not a huge deal if they don't do it though.

Littlecat, I've been meaning to FM you to thank you for all of your advice on duet. Thanks to your undying support for them, I booked, and after seeing your proofs which were gorgeous, I am so excited! Thanks again!

Thanks and your welcome!! I was so happy with my proofs but i still have not started to pick out my pics for the album.

I got married outside and my clergy actually had a microphone for us to talk into. I believe there is a microphone on the camera.

Ah, ok I get it now :) Another silly little question, do you get the raw footage? I don't have my contract with me, but I don't remember seeing that on there.

Good question, I don't know if you get raw footage. I am sure that you can get a copy if you ask. I don't know if it would be in the package b/c he is so particular on making sure everything looks nice and clean (especially b/c he used to be a TV commercial film director). i am sure you can get a copy.

Good question, I am using Duet for both photography and video. I didn't even think of that.

Oooooh-Ooooooh I can answer that one.. They dont include it unless you specifically ask for it.. I had them put it in my contract.. But they are really good, so if you ask, I am sure they would probably add it!
