Saw post about wish bowl--tell me more....

Where do you put it?? Do you put paper and pens next to it (I would assume). Let me know the details..sounds like a great idea!!!

i believe you put a bunch of slips of paper and some pretty pens by a big glass bowl and let people share their thoughts. i believe you put it on a table during the reception, possibly with some photos of family and friends, and maybe a receptacle for cardsa d gifts.
that's what we're doing at least...with a variation on the wish bowl.

We are having a wish bowl.. I am going to be posting pics within the next few weeks... (Our wedding is next Friday.. I will try to before the BIG DAY)... Its a bowl, most of the times decorated, that your guests can write you and your new husband their advice or wishes for you on marriage.
I am Giving blank Index cards and pens... nothing fancy.. If you do a search, you can find a few pretty ones.. Good Luck!

I had a wish bowl and made flower pens and put paper next to it. It was in the lobby. The painted bowl with the flowers was ours.

We also put a little sign next to it that said 'In lieu of a guestbook, please offer Jen & Steve your wit, wisdom & wishes.'

It was a big hit and really easy to do. We out it on the same table with all our family wedding photos.
