Got my marriage license and goodies bag.. look what's inside

Our gift bag from the County or City (can't remember which):

Inside a white satin finish drawstring favor bag: a small bottle of secret. (Possible use: Make bride 'fresh')

Pepto Bismol chewable tablets (Possible use: For Groom's upset stomach)

A bar of Zest (Possible use: To 'clean up')

One load use of Tide (Possible use: To 'clean up'?)

I mean geez.. I sure got that warm fuzzy feeling with this gift bag.. hahaha

Im getting married twice.

Our first marriage (civil) is this year.. same date.
Next year we go through the thing all over again but in style haha

Oh okay, just wnated to make sure, since i had a friend that got theris too early, and then changed their wedding date, it was a small wedding, in a backyard so it was changeable.

Are you dressing up for the 'civil' ceremony? I've ridden (rode?) past the Bx. County Courthouse a few times on the Express Bus into work when I go in late and I've seen couples taking pictures outside of it in tuxes and gowns! One couple looked really good...he had on just a nice suit and she a lovely white suit (the skirt was to her mid calf) and heels. She looked so elegant. They were in their 50's or 60's - they had other standing around that looked like their children and grandchildren - I guess 2nd marriage for both.

What courthouse are you marrying at?

LOL ummm sorry you misunderstood.
The small bottle of secret came in the satin finish like bag..

All of it was stuffed into a plastic bag. hehe

We got the same goodie bag this morning!!! Reminded me of being a 60's housewife!! We got our license at the Babylon Town Hall.

did oyu get your license yesterday?? we did and got the same bag from the town of hempstead!!! ti was fun to get our first wedding 'present' after getting the license!!

The Town of Hempstead gives goody bags? Who woulda thunk? X, I want to know what time your wedding is so I can look out my office window and see you and FH going in and coming out! This way I know the precise moment to crash it.

I'll be there! So what color should I wear? When do I get my bo-k? Should I wear my hair up or down?

Seriously, I'm going to tell my boss that I have to run out for about an hour and hope that I don't have any cases on that day. Even if I do, I can always get someone to cover for me or adjourn it. I don't have to be at court until 10:30, so I can always run over there late, if need be. Either that, or I'm just going to take a half day and sleep late! And I still say that FH should take you out for your free appetizer that night. Tell him to be a sport!

it was nice to meet you girls last night!..mike's team lost 4-3(but he scored the last 2 of the 3 goals so that was pretty good)
