Personal question for Mommies that are BF'ing

Have any of you gotten your monthly friend?
I haven't and it's been 11 weeks. I know BF prolongs it, but has anyone gotten it and are still BF? Jusxt curious Thanks

I haven't gotten mine yet and my baby is 5 months next week. I was exclusively BFing until about 2 weeks ago, now I am partially BF and giving formula. It is quite nice not having AF (it's been over a year now) but i'm starting to worry i'll never get it again and then how will baby Joseph get a sibling!!!

didn't get mine with my 1st until she was about 6 months old, and with my newborn, I have yet to see it! My OBGYN said it is perfectly normal and that some women don't begin to menstruate for 1 year after giving birth.

I JUST got mine...Lyndsey is almost 6 months old. I am weaning her from BFing though...HTH!

This is the number 1 reason to BF IMO

I would LOVE no 'friend' for months and months and months...are you still fertile though? So I guess birth control is still needed, even though no friend arrives?

I got mine when she was 3 months old and I was EBF. You are definitely fertile 1x without knowing it because you ovulate approx. 2 wks. before the 1st unannounced AF.
