Does anyone have any good tips for making rose petal cones ?

I hope to make them this week and would like any tips you can pass along!

got to a craft store and buy 8' paper doileys. cut in half. The roll like an ice cream cone. Use glue on the inside seam to seal so no one will see. then fill with rose petals

When I made these, I 'borrowed' an idea from Colin Cowie I printed the sheet music from the piece I walked down the isle to, onto 8 x11 copy paper. Then I rolled each into a cone and dabbed a bit of sticky glue from Michaels. That's it! It was very simple and looked great

Teri, that is a great idea!

How did you cut the paper, what size and shape, prior to rolling?

I didn't - I just used 8 1/2 x11 reg. copy paper in ivory. Worked great!

1/2 of an 8 X 11 sheet works perfectly
I printed our names and date diagonally on the inside as well-- so that the petals came up to our names
