can anyone recommend a elegant but inexpensive hall that can accomodate less than 100 people?

I will only be having 85 people. and we can only afford up to $5000 for the reception. can anyone give ideas of places that are beautiful, elegant but affordable to our price range?
i would like to have the ceremony there also.

You could also check out the Inn at East Wind in wadding River, I got a great price their and they have the Country Gardens which holds about the amount of people you want. You could also check Stewart Manor Country Club. I know Jenny2Penny has a date avaliable their, because her minimum came under 100.

I had my wedding at The Coral House and I loved it. It is very reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money.

Try the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. They should be right around that range as long as you don't go crazy with extras. We had our wedding there and loved it. Very quaint and charming!!!

Good luck with your search.

Definately look at The Meadow Club. That's about the same amount of people I'm having and the price I wanted to keep to.

Re: can anyone recommend a elegant but inexpensive hall that can accomodate less than 100 people?

there is a place in ronkonkoma - can't remember the name- windows something. also - i'm not sure about this one but you can try miller place inn on north country rd- across from the pond. you can also look into meadow club (port jeff station), old field club (setauket), the setauket neighborhood house (you bring your own caterer in). hope this helps.

Re: can anyone recommend a elegant but inexpensive hall that can accomodate less than 100 people?

There is a place called The Crestwood in the Northport / Fort Salonga area. It's brand new and they only have one function at a time. I thought it was beautiful but too small for me - should be perfect for 85 people. They have a small outside garden for ceremonies. The price I got for a Saturday night was very reasonable so if you go for an afternoon or Friday night they could probably get close to your range.

I second Coral House and Sunset harbor. Also try Chateau La Mer, Larkfield Manor (beautiful!) on friday, and Stuart Thomas Manor... they offer complete wedding packages that include your flowers, limo, etc for around $9000.

I second Three Village Inn in Stonybrook. My FSIL had her wedding there and she had 65 guests. It was absolutely beautiful!
