Eastwind Country Gardens

I think we have made our final decision to go with the Eastwind, so ANY an ALL experiances (Good & Bad) are needed!! We will be doing this July of 2002, ceremony there, about 130 guests. Just need a little reasurance maybe!! Thanks everyone!

The Marriott Residence Inn was used by my coworkers when they were in from Texas. It is usually used by business people for long terms stays, so it is probably booked. I guess it is better than nothing. Keep in mind they will probably be around $175.00. Maybe they will cut you a deal for a few rooms.

Eastwind Country Gardens

Valerie, Back in January my husband and I had attended his installation dinner for the fire dept. and we had the nicest time. He (and I) were one of the hosts for it, and I'll tell you that it was one of the NICEST catering halls we have been to in a LONG time. "John" was our Maitre'd and he was out of this world. If I had asked him to sit there and feed me he probably would have. They were very courteous and attentive to our needs. I have never been to a wedding there, but if they were that professional for a plain Jane fire dept. function and took that care and concern for us, I could just imagine what they would do for a Bride and Groom. The one and only problem I had there was I personally did not care for the swedish meatballs. I had them 2 weeks in a row for 2 different functions and both times they were bland and tough. But since I am SO picky, that is just my opinion. I have to say that for a 5 hour function they did an outstanding job! I hope you experience the service for your wedding like I did for my husband's party. Good Luck to you!! Cynthia
