? about Sandals Grande in St. Lucia

Fh and I are thinking of taking our honeymoon here, has anyone been or know anyone who has been to this resort? I looked at Trip advisor and the reviews looked ok, most of the complaints were about the food - that it is average at best. Anyone have any opinions?

Friends of ours went there last year for their honeymoon and raved about it...as far as the food goes, they had no complaints, but you can also go to the other 2 Sandals resorts in St. Lucia to eat and hang out.

Friends of ours went there too and loved it! We booked it for our 4/3 honeymoon!

We are staying at the Grande for 10 days for our HM. FSIL & BIL have stayed at the Regency and visited the Grande-they said the Grande was awesome - they stayed at the Regency for the golf but went to the Grande often.
I leave for my HM in 3 weeks !!!! I will give a full review when I get back!!!!!

We went there for our honeymoon and had a blast. It's what you make of it.

I will say this, 1. it's way overpriced and 2. the food is average at best
