American Express Rewards?

I remember a while back someone posted saying they were part of the American Express Rewards program, where they pay a annual fee, but the incentives were well worth it. Does anyone have any information on this?
ex. what the fee is, what the awards are, etc..

Re: American Express Rewards?

I have Blue from American Express and was able to enroll in the rewards program for free. I am not sure if the accumulation rate of the points is the same but I do not pay for it. The card also has a really low APR.

Re: American Express Rewards?

I have an American Express Platinum where you get rewards $1 to 1 point. The fee on the Platinum is outrageous though $300 a year + $175 for any additional card holders. I haven't used any of my points yet but I have accumulated quite a few!

Why would the fee on the platnum be so high? Does it offer any special incentives?

Re: American Express Rewards?

There are a bunch of things they give you with the platinum card. One for example is free companion ticket when you purchase a business/first class ticket. There are special events that you can go to etc. They also have concierge services and travel services etc. I've never used them though!

That citicard sounds great! I might check that out!!
