Anyone been to Aruba

For our honeymoon we cannot decide on the Radisson or Hyatt. The Radisson is about a hundred dollars cheaper each night but I hear the Hyatt it gorgeous. Any reviews?

Anyone been to Aruba

I have stayed at both. I loved the Hyatt ( we stayed there befor the radisson). It's beautiful but the rooms are a little small and balconys can barley fit one person. The pool is fantastic but everyone in Aruba goes into the ocean.FYI you have to stand on line before sun rise to claim a hut on the beach every day. I did this every day. It's crazy but worth it, or you will burn up.

Last time we stayed at the radisson, I immediately thought the Hyatt was better. After a day or 2 I fell in love with the radisson. You get a drink voucher and each day came with breakfast. We had a larger room on the ground floor with a little patio. As for the huts you reserve them in the afternoon at the radisson. The pool is great here too but the Hyatt has a water slide. FH and I would walk t the Hyatt for a few minutes just to go on their slide, no one knows lol.

Overall I recommend the radisson, if you book use aruba4u.com great deals with the radisson!! I also recommend Madame Jeanette's for dinner best place on the island.

Have fun!!

Re: Anyone been to Aruba

I've stayed at the Radisson and loved it! Save your money, stay there, and spend your money at all the good restaurants. I'd go back in a heart beat.

Anyone been to Aruba

We stayed at the Playa Linda which is next door to the Hyatt. The Hyatt grounds and pool area is beautiful! I've heard the rooms can be on the small side here. The Radisson looked nice as well. Honestly you will be out most of the day, maybe take the savings and put it towards the excursions.
