Anyone get their ring appraised by the Jewelry Judge?

If so, does he tend to appraise high, low or right on the mark?

They are so great. I don't know how they appraise but they are very fair and really inspect the diamonds to make sure what it says on your certification is what the diamond really is.

I did and it was about $1000 higher than what he paid.

We used them for my e-ring, both of our wedding bands and a ring I bought in Aruba. They are really nice and appraised higher than we paid for the rings. We saw Deborah who was super nice and my husband went back & saw the man (Barry, I think) for my ring from Aruba.

They are GREAT! What I thought was really cool was that they appraise it first and then look at the GIA certificate to see if it matches. My diamond alone was appraised for $7000 more than I bought it for. The appraiser said we got a steal!!!!

about $100.

Deborah told me they appraise right in the middle of the market. Mine appraised there for $5000 more than FH paid.

barry, is great my ring was 7000 more than what my FH paid , the appraisal was $170 , it depends on how many carts your ring is , mine in total is almost 3 carts
