Anyone going to see Journey /REO Speedwagon at Nassau Coliseum?

They are playing in July, I know I am kind of corny but FH and I are fans and he wants to go for his bday on 7/9!

OMG!! I saw Journey almost 20 years ago at Nassau Coliseum!! I didnt know they were coming!! I think I will have to get some tickets for me and my g/f's!! we were HUGE fans in High school!! I wonder how they sing now, now that Steve Perry isnt with them???

I heard about it yesterday. I wanted to go too, but it's not Steve Perry or Dennis Deyoung (styx), so I think we are going to pass. Although I heard the guy taking Steve Perry's place sounds just like him.

We saw this concert at Jones beach a few years ago. In fact, we got engaged after the concert.

They all sounded great! The new singer of Journey looks and sounds just like Steve Perry! And, I think his name is even Steve something! It took us a few songs to realize that it wasn't him.

Styx was awesome. We love Styx. We have seen them a few times since then too. Even w/o Dennis DeYoung they still ROCK!

We saw that they were playing at Nassau and thought about going too. I just HATE concerts at Nassau and swore years ago I would only to to concerts at Jones Beach.

Jones Beach concerts are the best on a nice summer night? Chicago is playing this summers, so are the Counting Crows with John Mayer.

I just saw Chicago in Atlantic City a few weeks ago.

I see them every year, but this was the first time at AC. It was hysterical. The place was filled with elderly people with quizzical looks on their faces. We realized that they must have had comped tix and thought Chicago meant the show, not the ROCK GROUP. LOL!

After a few songs the place was more than half empty!

really? Chicago (the band) didn't fill the seats? I Love them. but I guess they are kinda past their prime. That is funny about the old people!

Well, it was full at first! LOL!

It was a Thursday night, the first show, and they were playing until Sunday.
It was a dinner theatre type show, so you got 2 free drinks with your tix. The old ladies 2 tables over (some of the few that stayed) were up and dancing halfway through!
