Anyone had/having (or know someone who has) more than 1 best man/MOH...
Would you please sound off about it? How did it all work out? My FI is having a dilema choosing between 2 as his best man and I suggested he have both, but he's worried b/c it isn't traditional. I'd like to show him it's not unusual these days. Thanks! :o)

Not married yet, but FH is having both of his brothers stand up as BM. I am having a Matron of honor (my sister) and a Maid of honor (my dearest friend).FHs oldest brother also had the two brothers as his BM - I do not think the SIL had two MOHs...and it worked out fine.
I'm all for non-traditional. Do what works best for you - not others.

DH had the same problem. He could not chose between his brother and his best friend who is basically a brother too! So he picked them both. They waited at the front of the aisle with DH during the processional. They co-wrote the speech that brought tears to our eyes. It was wonderful. Tell FH Bah on tradition and follow his heart!!

My FI had the same problem.. I told him to just pick them all.. He is having 3 Best men... lol it is crazy but it is what he wanted..and the other crazy thing is that all in all he has 13 guys in the bridal party.. we both would not have it any other way each and everyone of the guys are so special to us...

I am having a MOH and a Matron of Honor. I could not decide so I finally figured I did not have too I could have both. But of course we are not too worried about tradition. My FI BM is a women and my MOH is a guy.

Hi: I think it is perfectly fine to have 2 BM. I'm having an uneven bridal party. 1 Maid, 1 Matron, 2 BM, 2 Bridesmaids, 4 Ushers, 2 ring boys and 1 flower girl. I think it will turn out ok.

Re: Anyone had/having (or know someone who has) more than 1 best man/MOH...
I am having a very small wedding party. I have 3 girls and 1 guy and my FH has 2 guys. His men are both his best men and all my girls are MOH. My sister is a matron and I could not chose 1 BM and 1 MOH between my two girlfriends. They will all stand up during the ceremony and walk in pairs. I haven't figured out how this will play out during the wedding reception as far as speeches, but whatever it is, Iam sure it will be wonderful. At my sister's wedding her husband's 2 brothers each gave a speech- it was very sweet.,

My FI is having two Best Men. He had two really close friends that he's known ever since elementary school and he could not chose between them, so he is having them both. It works out perfectly because I have a Maid of Honor and a Matron. I think your FI should go for it. Why should weddings be so cookie cutter anyway? Doing what you want is what makes your wedding unique.

I am having a maid of honor (my sister) and matron of honor (my best friend) and then he is having his two brothers as his best men - we couldn't choose between his brothers - it just didn't seem fair. I've heard of a lot of people doing that.

Re: Anyone had/having (or know someone who has) more than 1 best man/MOH...
I had a Madi of Honor and A Matron of Honor, and my DH had one Best Man. The only thing is, is only one gets to sign the license, and one girl got ot stand next to me, etc. But I think it is great to have 2, it is so hard to choose, and my MOH's were both my friends, but I was close in a different way to each.
