Bath Fitter
I was gonna bump the bath fitter thread... but I figured might as well start a new one since its been a while.I was against getting this done until I saw my neighbor had his done in his bathroom... and it wasn't that bad at all.
I am considering this. Has anyone here used Bath Fitter with success (or failure?).
Or even better question... has anyone bought any of the bath fitter 'knockoffs'? Like a company that installs bath fitter 'type' products. My neighbor didnt use Bath Fitter themself... but used another company that did a pretty good job (no issues in 7 years of owning it).

Re: Bath Fitter
I had the actual bath fitter come to my house and I laughed at him as I showed him the door. He wanted to charge me 3,500 dollars to put that thing over my tub.Instead I had my bathroom beautifully tiled and am much happier, plus I spent less $$.
Also I replaced my old tub and feel much better than covering it up (the guy who lived here before us was a pig!)

Re: Bath Fitter
So you had a complete bathroom renovation and a tub replacement for under $3500? Care to share who did the work for you? FM is fine. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bath Fitter
we had it done by my landlords in our old apt....it never fit right...when you stepped you kinda felt an air bubble...hard ot explain..but they were also cheap so they might not have paid for the better end of it....

Re: Bath Fitter
We just had bath fitter put in and are very happy with it. I would be wary using the knock offs as I have heard of people having trouble with them. Bathfitter is the only company that offers a seamless wall so there are less chances for problems. We only have one bathroom so we needed to have something done that would only take one day. It is expensive but it is guaranteed for as long as you own the property and it low maintainence too.

Re: Bath Fitter
We had our bathroom reglazed from ugly yellow to almond. I was told the bath fitter will cover up the walls but if there is rot beding it it can make more damge to the walls. We reglazed the floor, hamper, toilet, sink and tub and walls for 1,000! It looks like a new bathroom! FM mail me if you want the name.Welcome New Vendors
