bathroom baskets ... need some opinions ... UPDATED w/pics of baskets

ok so i was at target today at lucnh with my mom ... we were in the easter section cause she was getting stuff to make me a basket (yes at the age of 24 she still makes me a basket ... i would be so upset if she didnt) and my nephew a basket ...i was looking and i found these really cute askets that are lined in cloth and have butterfiles around them ... now my wedding theme is going to be butterfly themes and i want to use the baskets for my bathroom baskets... so i have 3 questions ...

first the baskets wont match my color theme ... do you think it really matter since it will be in the bathroom?

second ... how big are you going to make the bathroom basket items ... i was thinking just get travel size of everything ... is that what you do or are you suppose to get the regular sizes?

now third based on what you tell me with the second one what size basket do you think the i should get? ... cause hte ones i saw was a big one which i would have to do normal size things ... and the other one i could probably do regular but travel size woul be best and the third on i would most likely have to do travel ...

i cant remember any of the baskets i have seen before ....

TIA and sorry its kinda long

ETA: My MOH likes the whie and purple one better ... so I think I am leaning towards that one more ... Also which one do you like better

Re: bathroom baskets ... need some opinions

I think that it will not matter one bit if the baskets do not match you color theme. I don't think that anyone will notice. I love butterflies so I'm sure that the baskets are really cute.....I'm not 100% sure about what size basket you should get, I guess it depends on how much stuff you are going to put in it.

Re: bathroom baskets ... need some opinions

I already made my baskets, and no they don't match my theme, that's cool that yours does. I think it'll be fine that it's not in your color. It is in the bathroom afterall.

In ours we did mostly trial sizes of stuff. I added some items from around the house, like Bath and Body Works Lotions we already had, and Dove hairspray.

Re: bathroom baskets ... need some opinions

my ladies room basket was bigger than the guys' room. I would say the ladies room is a foot wide, and maybe 6 or 7 inches across.

Re: bathroom baskets ... need some opinions ... UPDATED w/pics of baskets

I like the first one... The second one looks to Easter-y to me.. I would ditch the handles too.

I would get full-size of certain items - like hairspray, lotion and pain killers... and trial of other things - like the sewing kit, hand sanitizer, etc..

BHB bathroom basket link (one of many)

I also like the first one. I don't think the colors need to match at all with your color scheme.

no, it's just a nice touch... if you can afford it - go for it.

I personally never use the stuff that's in there but I like knowing it's there.

I think you should get rid of the handles too, but I don't think they need to match your colors
