Blue flowers

I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for blue flowers (not light blue or teal, not purple/lavender) My dresses are royal blue. I was hoping to have an all-blue bouquet with either a tall stem and just 1 type of flower, or a cascading/teardrop bouquet. I have a beachy theme so the more tropical and exotic looking the better (not looking for dyed roses or carnations or anything like that)

Any suggestions?

Re: Blue flowers

My color is royal blue as well. We are using delphinium. The come in light and dark blue. You can use only one or the other. Personally I'm using both in my BM bouquets.

Re: Blue flowers

i think i am doing both shades of delphinium with white roses and stephanolis (sp?) to make it full, hydrangeas are good for ceremony and CP but not the best for Bo-ks cuz they need water and brown quickly and are very fragile.. ......

Re: Blue flowers

I was trying for the blue also, but then i tried some purple, Iris, delphinium it looks very good with blues! This is my centerpiece, except it will have some blue dendrobium orchids in it! It gives a nice contrast to the blues.

I also posted this on the BHB board, but I'd also like to hear any suggestions for blue flowers too. So here's my previous post:

I'm in the same predicament! My dresses are Blue Velvet from Davids' (cobalt blue) and I'm not sure what types of bouquets would look right against that deep color.

I think I finally made a decision on my own bouquet, white roses with some blue delphinium, but I don't know what to do for my sisters and bridesmaid. I don't want light blue or teal either. Hmmm... any suggestions?

Here's a pic of the bouquet I'd like for myself, with darker blue delphiniums though:
