Boo Hoo. I have to stop shopping now.

I am getting ready to do my 'mid-wedding budget review' and I already know the bad news.
We have been a bad Bride and Groom - to-be.
Just shopping and hanging out like normal. But after this review I do, I know we will both have to buckle down and save every extra penny we have.

Saving is a killer! FH and I put away a lot every month for the wedding and we are not even paying for the wedding! Just misc stuff, gifts, etc, honeymoon, rings. It is madness!

I cannot shop anymore either. My Fi always complains that we hardly ever go out.

I was just saying today no more take out!!!! My biggest fear is that when May comes around & we don't have enough!!! I am trying to cut back SO much!!! I'm amost finished the Christmas shopping so I can save even more!!

I already told FH, no gifts this year. Only for children, since they don't understand grownups are broke sometimes

Jenhos, since your wedding is literally around the corner, how have you and Matt handled being broke? Was it better or worse than you imagined?

Well we are not paying for the wedding itself so that has been a big help. Between our honeymoon and rings and all the little extras we had to have we have had to cut down on eating out. It is a little frustrating but we just keep in focus why we need to save. We have had to get creative with our date night and I don't get flowers as often as I used to

Matt used to bring them to me at work all the time. But I told him that is money we could save and so he has found other 'cute' was to let me know how much he loves me.

I was just in Target today to buy a vaccum (unfortuantely mine broke last night) and I can EASILY drop about a hundred or so bucks when i'm there. This time, I went in and didn't even look at anything else
