I want one but I think FH would kill me-we already have a zoo!!! 1 dog, 3 turtles and 2 ferrets, I think its time we slow down!

I don't own one but we sell them. What do you need to know? They are nocturnal-so you may want to keep him or her in a place where you can't hear them at night. They are very sweet, great pets. They CANNOT get wet-they make a specialt chinchilla bath (powder). We will get one once we have a house. FM if you have any questions.

i had two-- one passed away (it was old) and the younger one we had to give up for adoption b/c our dog kept going NUTS trying to 'get it'... we have a schnauzer and they were bred 'ratters' so they have an instinct to kill any type of rodents... so we felt bad b/c the chinchilla first lost it's friend (the first one that died) and then started to get like, attacked by our dog every two seconds-- so it was terrified. we found a really good pet store to take him and i think he is still currently for sale-- we thought it was a girl when we first bought it b/c the salesperson was wrong lol so we named it a girl name but it's a boy-- his name is bambina lol

he was the sweetest thing- never bit or anything-- so sweet! used to run in his wheel for hours

i just felt bad b/c of the dog-- he wasn't happy anymore ever since we got the dog... i'm hoping someone buys him soon

ps, i wish i would have known about you-- i would have given you bambina- cage and all

along with his wheel, toys, huts, etc.
